Music is an essential part of life at The Olive School – Namugongo. We encourage every child to express themselves through rhythm, song, and sound, building confidence through joyful performance.
Our pupils regularly participate in music assemblies, class showcases, and community events where they can share their talents. Whether performing a solo on the recorder, drumming in an ensemble, or singing in our school choir, every child experiences the thrill of performing in front of others.
Performances are held in our school hall, during special events like Music Day, Family Week, and End-of-Term Celebrations. We also partner with local churches and cultural groups to take music beyond the classroom and into the community.
Pupils learn a variety of musical styles, instruments, and theory through our rich curriculum and co-curricular clubs. From early years to P7, we nurture each child’s musical growth, while encouraging teamwork, listening skills, and creativity.
Join us for our upcoming music concerts and celebrations all families are welcome!
