Exceptional Pastoral Care

The wellbeing of our pupils is of utmost importance. We have a school nurse available during school hours and a trained matron overseeing the dormitories for boarding pupils. In case of illness, first aid is provided on site and referrals can be made to nearby clinics or hospitals if needed. Parents are informed promptly of any significant health concerns.

Beyond physical health, we support mental and emotional wellbeing through a network of teachers, dorm parents, and spiritual mentors. Children always have someone they can talk to — and we integrate Christian values and prayer into everyday moments of care and healing.

Each learner at Olive School is paired with a class teacher who serves as their personal mentor, helping them set academic and character-building goals. Weekly reflection sessions and devotions foster responsibility, gratitude, and focus. Through small group discussions, interactive life skills lessons, and character development activities, pupils are equipped to become thoughtful, confident, and disciplined young leaders.

As a Christian school, spiritual formation is woven into daily life. Our Chaplain leads weekly fellowship, devotions, and prayer services, and is available to counsel both learners and staff. Biblical values, worship, and prayer guide our community, helping learners develop a personal relationship with God and a strong moral foundation.

We believe healthy bodies support sharp minds. Our school kitchen prepares well-balanced meals daily — breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, and supper — using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Children enjoy a variety of dishes including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins tailored to growing learners.

We cater to individual dietary needs and encourage good table manners, gratitude, and community during meal times. Our meal plan also includes occasional theme days to make dining a fun and social experience.
